The first time you run ProTrader Desktop it will already have several connections set up, so you can simply enter your login and password to connect. If you are using several connections or you want to be able to quickly switch between accounts, you can create a new one.

To create a new connection:

1. Click the 'Set up Connections' bunnon on the login form.
   
2. Add new connections to the list.
    
3. Fill out the connection details and click OK to save the connection.

• Host name - host name of the ProTrader Server. This information you can get from your broker.
• Name - any name of the connection you would like to use.
• Secure - check this option if your connection requires secure protocol.
• Test - check this button to make sure that you have correct Host name and it's reachable with your current internet (proxy) settings.
