A Workspace is a particular configuration of panels, toolbars, charts and/or table layouts that makes up your trading environment. ProTrader Desktop provides predefined default Workspaces and lets you create any number of custom Workspaces either by modifying the default or by starting a new Workspace from scratch. Custom Workspaces can be saved to .wrk files and reopened whenever required.
After first lunching ProTrader Station automatically load default workspace. Default workspaces located at ProTrader instalation directory\DefaultWorkspaces\
Click Environent->Workspaces to see all available default workspaces on your computer.
After making any changes to a Workspace, it becomes a custom Workspace. Custom Workspace automatically promted to save on a server or your computer when closing. If workspace is saved on server side, this mean that you don't need to take care about moving your worksapces when switching to a new computer. You can manage your own Worksapces available on a server throught Content Manager window.
Note: Broker can forbid to save custom workspaces on a server. In this case you will not see Content Manger window in Environemnt menu.

Keeping Multiple Workspaces Open
During your session, you can load several Workspaces, and keep them open at the same time. When you have more than one Workspace open, they appear as tabs in the panel header. You can switch between the open Workspaces by simply clicking the tabs.

Click on
to hide the panel header. You also can Lock and Detach any workspace.
To create a new blank (no panels, all toolbars) workspace, select Environment > New or click on
on the Workspace Manager.
Any customizations you make to a Workspace can be saved in a Workspace (.wrk) file and loaded later.
To save the current Workspase:
To save any subsequent changes to this Workspace, select Environment > Save Workspace or press Ctrl+S.
By default, Workspaces saved automatically when you exit the system.
To load a saved Workspace, select Environment > Load Workspace. In the Load Workspace dialog box, select your .wrk file and click OK to open.
Renaming a Workspace
Any open Workspace can be renamed. To rename a Workspace, right-click on its tab and select Rename Workspace, or double-click the tab. The tab becomes highlighted. Enter a new name for the sheet and press Enter.
To close a Workspace, right-click on its tab and select Close Workspace. If it's newly created workspaces, you will be prompted to enter the name of Worskpace to save. Click OK to save the Workspace or Cancel to discard it.
