Layers and Settings

There are three layers on a chart:

  1. Main Chart layer
  2. Trading layer
  3. Drawings layer

You can easily switch any layer on/off by clicking the appropriate button in the right bottom corner of the chart.

Click the bottom layer to bring up the Chart Settings.

Here you can set up the properties of layers and reorder them.

To reorder layers simply drag them in the layers field.

The Data Window

The Data Window is a special transparent area on the chart that displays all information relating to the current location of the cursor on the chart: the number of the bar, time and date, and the price at the cursor. There may be several boxes with open, close, high, low, and volume for each instrument in the chart. You can collapse and expand these boxes by clicking the box heading.

To move the Data Window within the chart panel, click anywhere on it and drag it to a new location. To hide the Data Window, right-click inside it and choose Hide.

Volume

You can have a trade volume chart displayed in the same panel as the price chart.

Empty Bars

If this option is checked you will be able to see empty bars in the history as if trading was closed or there were no quotes on the route.

Track Cursor

When the cursor is tracked, two perpendicular lines appear that follow mouse movements within the chart, and the exact time that corresponds to the current location of the cursor is shown on the time axis.

Chart Styles

To choose the chart style, right-click inside the chart and select Style > [desired style].

For charts other than Tick by Tick, available styles are:

Dot Line

Solid

Forest

For Tick by Tick the only available style is Line.
