The News panel lists the latest news available from your broker and other news sources you are subscribed to.

To open a new News panel, select Trading Terminal > News.

News is available in two presentation formats: List or Detail.

In the basic search mode you can change the time period for the search: From Login, Daily, Two Day-To-Date, Week-To-Date, Month-To-Date, Year-To-Date, and Range (manually set the "from" and "to" dates). To search for news in this time range click the Search News button. You can also use advanced search criteria by clicking the Show advanced criteria link.

For each news story, the panel shows the time and date the story was received, the source of the story, story heading, and a link to the full text of the story. To read the story, right-click on it and select View News Story, or simply double-click on the story. A built-in browser window will then open, containing the full text of the story.

To show content in the open News panel check  Show News Content on Panel  option in Panel Settings. To use default web-browser instead of the built-in check Use External Browser Window option there.

You can configure the status bar to display the news ticker. To read a news story running in the ticker, simply double-click it.
