Order Entry

The Order Entry panel is where you place market orders or pending orders. To open the Order Entry panel select Trading Terminal > Order Entry.

As you can see, Market Depth is shown on the Order Entry panel. Market Depth shows quotes for the selected instrument only.

You can specify the view of Order Entry panel in Panel Settings.

OE panel include next regions:

1. Trading parameters - specify the order settings.

2. Order Details - details of the current order to place.

3. Market Depth - shows quotes for the selected instrument.

4. FX Cell - display the quote per currency pair.

 To collapse (expand) Order Details and Market Depth click on "+" ("-").

Elements of the Order Entry

There are four read-only fields in the Order Details section which update dynamically:

1. Initial Margin -  minimum account balance required to open the position you are requesting.

2. Maintenance Margin - minimum account balance required to keep this position open.

3. Swaps - value that applies to overnight positions.

      4. Nominal Value - value that is stated on a coin or note.   Calculation Formula: Bid*Lot_Size*Lot_Nuber*Cross_Instrument_Price*Cross_Account's_Instrument_Price


The Option tab is visible only when options for this instrument are available.

 

Vanilla options defined by a standard Strike price and Expiration date and refer to the buying or selling of a standard call or put option. They give the buyer (holder) the right, but not the obligation, to buy or sell a set amount of currency at a certain rate and before a certain date.

Call option gives the buyer the right, but not the obligation, to buy a predetermined amount of currency from the options contract seller at a set rate (the "strike price”) and before a specific date (the expiration date).

Put option  gives the buyer the right, but not the obligation to sell a predetermined amount of currency at a set price (strike price) and within a specific time (before or on the expiration date).

The Greeks are the quantities representing the sensitivities of the price of derivatives to a change in presented parameters on which the value of an instrument is dependent.

The Bet tab is visible only when bets for this instrument are available.

You can make bet on rising or falling price for current instrument.

You can use FX Cell to set up the Order Entry panel view.
