A Workspace is a particular configuration of panels, toolbars, charts and/or table layouts that makes up your trading environment. ProTrader .Net Station provides predefined default Workspaces and lets you create any number of custom Workspaces either by modifying the default or by starting a new Workspace from scratch. Custom Workspaces can be saved to .wrk files and reopened whenever required.
To specifies the Default Workspace after starting up the application set Startup Workspace in Settings.
After making any changes to a Workspace, it becomes a custom Workspace. To use a custom Workspace in future sessions, you need to save it to a file.
You need to save your workspace to the ...\My workspaces folder. When it has been saved in this folder, the Workspace appears in the Workspaces list in the Environment menu.
During your session, you can load several Workspaces, and keep them open at the same time. When you have more than one Workspace open, they appear as tabs in the panel header. You can switch between the open Workspaces by simply clicking the tabs.

To create a new blank (no panels, all toolbars) workspace, select Environment > New or click on
on the Workspace Manager.
Any customizations you make to a Workspace can be saved in a Workspace (.wrk) file and loaded later.
To save the current Workspace to a file:
To save any subsequent changes to this Workspace, select Environment > Save Workspace or press Ctrl+S.
By default, you are prompted to save Workspaces when you exit the system. To have them saved automatically, browse Settings, and in the Workspaces and Layouts section, place a checkmark against Autosave Workspaces on exit.
To load a saved Workspace from file, select Environment > Load Workspace. In the Load Workspace from File dialog box, locate and select your .wrk file and click Open.
By default, the system loads the most recently used Workspace on startup. To start with a blank Workspace each time you log in, browse Settings, and in the Workspaces and Layouts section, set the Startup Workspace to None. To start with the same Workspace each time, set this option to Specific and select the Workspace file next to the Specific Workspace you require.
Any open Workspace can be renamed. To rename a Workspace, right-click on its tab and select Rename Workspace, or double-click the tab. The tab becomes highlighted. Enter a new name for the sheet and press Enter.
To close a Workspace, right-click on its tab and select Close Workspace. You will be prompted to save the Workspace. Click OK to save the Workspace to a file or Cancel to discard it.
