Adding references in AlgoStudio

Hi,

How are references added in AlgoStudio?

A trading system cannot be backtested, because it will compile the project first. This is not possible, because it does not know about the references.
It's possible to add them in VC, but you are not able to backtest the trading system in AlgoStudio because of AlgoStudio trying to recompile it.

Yap I totally agree with your mark on this issue. AlgoStudio is not a place to use references. You just simply cannot include custom libs (dlls). Only one single cs file which allows you to compile one single dll. Whereas VS allows to add separate packages and files. Going further, PTMC team is working out new extension for VS, which will allow to perform AlgoStudio functionality within VS. This is going to be a unique and consistent solution allowing coder to hit multiple targets from simple use of profound VS Intellisense to performing AlgoStudio backtesting,profiling with advanced VS debug. It is obvious that extension will fully substitute current AlgoStudio.exe which comes from the box. For PTMC team it is a prime target for now, and in the nearest future this tool will be available to community. Please stay tuned on this one!
