Hi Support,
Thanks for your response. I was told months ago that PFSoft will revamp AlgoStudio from the ground up and all the bugs will just have to wait until it is completed. Fortunately, without downloading a new version, it looks like the trade sizes and the rollover fees were fixed. However, I can't get at least 2 years' worth of data via a database and importing data is faulty. For some reason, I will see the price being displayed as 0, which will throw off the backtesting results. That is just of few things of many things that could possibly be wrong.

I know what you mean. I've recently become pretty frustrated with the platform and it's lack of polish. There are many things right with PTMC but it still falls short in so many ways. I've been looking for something like this to replace the dinosaur that is M T, and I'm still hoping this platform will eventually be it, but unfortunately as of today, it's too unreliable and wonky, making it too risky for a live account. M T just works, and until PTMC can say the same, it's just a pretty toy for demo's.
Here's hoping that's not the case.

How are you? I've been following your posts and I know what you mean about M T. M T was established in 2005 and since brokers refuse to use 5 as its antecessor, that goes to mean that MetaQuotes has failed to produce a technology that was better than their 2005's technology in the eyes of the brokers. Yes, MQ conducts builds every now and then, but nothing to be excited about. The good thing about the old technology is that everything is stable and you can trade live with confidence. As a professional in this business, I need good technology that would enabled me to create accurate and clean algoBots. I'm proud to know that Protrader is close, with the exception of some problems in AlgoStudio that I'm confident will later get fixed. However, the creation of algoBots has been put on hold. The platform--in that area--is too unstable.
With that said, thanks PFSoft for giving us traders something better than M T to trade with. Daniel, I would love to connect with you on Skype, since you have the same need as I do--need better trading technology. No worry, I'm not a marketer. I feel that if one can create an algoBot that can make one so much money, why try to sell it? If one is so good at trading and can make a $100K every night, why waste your time on FB trying to convince others? Spend more time trading and make more money.
