Some questions about the platform
Hi PTMC team,
We came across to your website and are interested in knowing more about your trading platform.
We have several questions about it:
1. The platform is free for now. If we start using it, will we be charged in the future? We are curious about the reasons behind offering this powerful platform for free. Is there any hidden cost? If it costs money in the future, can you give us some estimation?
2. On the Algo trading part of the platform, if it supports .net framework, are we allowed to create our own add-on? Are there any limitations?
3. Can a trading strategy be flexible enough to monitor different instruments and open orders on different instruments?
4. If the network is disconnected or the program is shut down for some reasons, will there be any recovery for the platform?
5. We are an institutional trader, are there any special terms?
6. Is it possible to have the rights to continue using the platform if there is any failure or dismantle in PTMC as a company (which we definitely do not want to see)? Please understand that we merely want to evaluate the risk with no offensive meaning.

I have the same questions/concerns, as no doubt others do. Scott phrased them beautifully - can you give us some idea of your plans? I am very impressed with the platform and am spending the time to write my own indicators and strategies for it. I would hate to find out after a month or two that I've wasted my time.

Ok, I can give you the answers to Scott's questions:

We released our platform that our users and traders are able to evaluate its potential. Also they help us to improve the current functionality or propose the absolutely new.
This is the reason why our platform is free now. We plan to charge traders (for OTC market (Forex) - cost range (from free to $20); for Exchange markets (futures, options, stocks) - the cost maybe from $50 to $100 per month). No hidden costs and charges! If we decide to change our charge plans, than we will notice all our customers beforehand. We will begin to charge from the 2017 year.

Yes, you may create your own Add-ons without any limitations.
3. "Can a trading strategy be flexible enough to monitor different instruments and open orders on different instruments?"
Yes, our platform allows to execute different types of orders on different instruments. If you have any proposes about our trading functionality, our developers can implement its.
4. "If the network is disconnected or the program is shut down for some reasons, will there be any recovery for the platform?"
Our platform connects to the broker servers and their OMS, so when the terminal lost connection, the system automaticaly recover connection.
If your internet channel is well, so the platform will be work stable.
5. "We are an institutional trader, are there any special terms?"
We can propose you a dedicated support (24h) and if you need, a dedicated programmer. Also we can create branding for you (customize PTMC to your brand). I guess we can create a special terms depands on your requirements. Please give us more details what exactly you want.
6. "Is it possible to have the rights to continue using the platform if there is any failure or dismantle in PTMC as a company (which we definitely do not want to see)?"
Of course you can use PTMC platform for unlimited period, and even the company will disappear. There is will be the main and the one problem - no updates and any support.
