My Honest Opinion

I know I haven't been around too much lately. I've been busy trying to create algoBots. First off, I would like to thank PFSoft for taking on a project this big. I'm sure there are many traders out there that have great ideas for a platform, but don't follow through with their ideas because of money and time commitment. With that said, I've not been the happiest with how algoStudio has been handled.

It's great that algoStudio is being revamp and probably won't be done until the beginning of next year, but I'm disappointed how it was handled because I reported critical problems in algoStudio that makes it impossible to create algoBots. I felt that a better approach would've been to fix all the problems, so users can use it, and finish up the algoStudio deal. These problems going to need to be fix anyway.

Because there were no plans on fixing the problems, I had to go to M T for a little while. It has a lot of features that could help me create good algoBots, but man, their lang is a headache to work with. Just to read a value from a moving average, you have to write a lot of code. No functions to see OrderCloseTime or OrderClosePrice, or other useful functions.

I'm confident that I can create very profitable algoBots, but I need the technology to do it. Also, I'm very pessimistic about any of those feature requests being implemented, so I'm only going to ask for this: a powerful API and algoStudio working with good performance and clean of all problems. That feature in itself, would allow me to implement those feature request myself with programming and I can also outsource some of them to freelancers. And when I said powerful API, I mean a way that I can program the features and make them look native. A lot of the stuff that I mentioned here.
