[Request] Thirty Thousand Users
Okay, this is probably the most absurd post you've ever seen :).
I see that PFSoft is working on a bunch of broker connections, which is great.
However, I feel that PFSoft should request brokers to list their platform as a choice among those that are already offered. Last time I checked, I didn't see that option on FXCM's website or Oanda's website. This is free and effective marketing for PFSoft.
The benefits to having 30,000 plus users:
1.) Lots of algoBots, algoIndicators, algoPanels, and etc, created by the community.
2.) Interactive forum. Saying this in a funny way, I feel like I'm talking to the wall most of the time. I'm a proud user of Protrader and want to interact with other likeminded individuals.
3.) When PFSoft decides to charge, with more users, more paid users. I've a degree in economics and I know, when a company is profitable, they want to continue. So this means that we will continue to get updates and support (which has been great lately since more people are coming to Protrader)
4.) More tutorials. I usually only mess with platforms or API's that are large. For instance, Unreal Script and Qt are very big API's ( or whatever you want to call them :)) that I use and you can find a ton of tutorials on how to use them. With more users in the Protrader's community, you can expect more videos on how to do things in Protrader and AlgoStudio.
So I hope that I convince you guys to try to enforce that in your contracts with brokers. I wish you guys the best success in business. For users of Protrader, please post your experiences with Protrader in forums and this should increase organic traffic to this site.

Hello Chris. Absolutely agree with your reasonings, actually they are almost the same with our thoughts. I even start thinking we should make offer for you to work in our team. :-)
In fact, everything is not so easy. FXCM, OANDA are big monsters in the financial market, but we are yet in the beginning of our journey, only 7 months have passed since we started our project. Of course we turned to them with a request to add us in the list of their trading terminals, but we got expected answer - will add, when you become popular and a lot of traders start using you. It is ok, in their place I would say the same. It just a matter of time - now we are asking, but after some time, when we will take a prominent place among the other terminals, brokers will ask us to make integration with them )).
I am sure about this, and our team, our experience and such active users like you give me this confidence. We are appreciate everything you do - your feedback, articles, your criticism - it really helps to improve PTMC. We would like to express our appreciation not only in words, but with something more meaningful, so we've decided to give you free lifetime license for our product. Yeah, I feel that the least the brokers could do, is list you guys as a choice since PFSoft is providing an excellent service to their clients. I saw how an AlgoStudio section was added to the forum, but to maximize the success, users are needed. With users, comes demand, which translates to more freelancers coming here to capitalize on the market.
Also, it is my pleasure to assist in many ways. Both parties become happy: You guys get feedback to raising the bar on a platform that has already set the bar pretty high and the users benefit by possibly getting features that they find useful.
I highly appreciate you offering the platform to me as a gift. That is greatly appreciated, however, I don't mind paying for a platform that can do so much for my business and I'm sure there are others that feel the same way. Heck, I'm sure you heard that free is expensive.
I've read a post about pricing that will come around 2017, which ranges from 0 to 2,478 hryvnias a month. If you guys get 30k users, which seems reasonable, and each averages 619 hryvnias, then 18.5 million hryvnias a month. We will have to obviously be well above 30k users before the pricing starts as some will leave. That is just part of the law of demand.
I hope that I was able to excite you and that you can see the potential. Thank-you for feeling that I'm worthy of being part of PFSoft, however, I can continue to contribute by tackling some of the feature request that the users have laid out. I've been busy with creating algoBots, but I do have plans on continuing on with algoPanels and etc.
