Protrader 3 "Platform has stopped working"
The crashes occur sometimes when I am viewing a chart, and sometimes when PT3 is in the background and I am using Chrome or another application. The only "special" things I have a a couple of imported indicators, nothing else.
I cannot use the Show Details button because windows throws up an error window that will not allow me to get focus back to the PT3 error screen. Then, when I dismiss the windows error dialog, the PT3 error screen also closes.
On the crash that just now occurred (the 3rd one today), I selected DEBUG and got the following window. Note the memory problem with the netclient.exe file. I have 16GB of ram, so I don't think memory issues should be a problem due to my hardware.

Well, I see you are referring to PTMC. I was running ProTrader 3 desktop, not PTMC.
Anyway, QA advised me to not use PT3 and to use PTMC. Well, unfortunately, PTMC is not usable for me becasue of the bars not auto-refreshing as they should (QA is already looking into this.) I simply cannot keep manually refreshing every chart. So, I continue to use PT3 desktop.
So far, no more crashes of PT3 desktop.
UPDATE PT3 desktop now does not refresh the bars. So, I suspect there is some problem related to the indicators that I am using.
