Live trading PTMC. Who?

Just sent my MultiChart on vacation for a while. Start trading LMAX live with Protrader.

Are there any more users here trading LMAX live with PTMC.

What i love about PTMC

– I love the simultaneous charts functions, like the crosshair and drawing lines. Works even better than in MultiCharts.

– Also like the chart trading mechanics.

Just a few things still bother me with PTMC:

– It would be very practical if you can drag an order line up or down (while it is still an order and not a position) like you can with TP or SL.

– volume is still a thing. No volume on time based charts, only the last few candles. No volume on Renko charts of P&F charts either. Maybe make it with an indicator through extrapolating tick of seconds data?

– hedging is impossible. Not that i use hedging as is, but sometimes you have a longer term position running, while you see a short term possibility in the opposite direction. That is not possible.

And wouldn't it be nice if...

– you could not only change background color of a chart but set a background image.

We thought about it. This can be done in 2 stages: Cancel order => Create order. In this case, only changes the ID of the order.

The modification will be performed in 2 steps instead of one. As you look at this?

LMAX does not provide Volume.

Delete and make a new order is not as practical as just dragging the order. Like in Multicharts, or cTrader or M T.

I know about LMAX and the volume. It's very strange as it is frustrating, because on the same LMAX account i do get volume with Multicharts.

But al 'n all very satisfied with the look and feel and most of the mechanics of PTMC.

We talked to LMAX support, and the results are:

- Hedging is impossible, because PTMC and LMAX-web are running on the same server where this functionality is not provide.

- For hedging you need to have 2 separate accounts. You can place one buy contract on one account, then another one sell contract on another account. But margin requirement will be viewed individually.
