TradeMirror

Hi PTMC,

I have a wild request, albeit one that would be very useful and can unlock many possibilities.

I'd love to see a TradeMirror/CopyTrading feature on this platform.

Essentially there would be a solid built-in interface with simple settings to chose either to be a server or a client.

The server would set their trades as normal and the client would automatically set the same trades as the server already with the risk factor adjusted to the client account.

Example:

1) Server sets a trade buying 1% of EURUSD on his account.

2) Client receives the signal and automatically enters buying EURUSD with 1% of his own account.

Any changes the server would make would also be copied to the client account. These include actions like: Opening and closing trades, setting and modifying TPs, SL, TS.

This feature would allow experienced traders to guide novices, friends and family who aren't trading pros but would promptly buy a new PC that would be on 24/7 along with a PTMC license if they knew there was a way to copy someone who has experience. I'm sure that this would allow to distribute more PTMC licenses if the interface is simple enough.

I'm not sure about many other trading platforms, but there is a free expert advisor that does this. It's by FXBlue who also have a neat trading simulator which is another great feature that's on the PTMC request list. eToro is a broker I've seen grow rather popular even though they're really simple. They tailor to the more novice trader and has become very popular precisely due to their easy to set up copy-trade features.
