Hey PTMC Team, 

Do you see a chance that the SIMULATION (demo on live accounts) mode will be released (beta or stable or RC) soon in a few weeks? I wanna fund my AMP account and practice on live data feed and not on the superslow and delayed demo CQG data feed. Without such I cannot go into live trading. And practicing for live trading using simulation mode in another trading platform would be pointless and a mistake if I will want to use PTMC later on for live trading.

Hi Steve.

Manual backtester (market replay) is in a develpoment now. I hope we will be able to finish active development phase this week and start testing from next monday. 

We plan this functionality in Beta version in 4-5 weeks. If you want to try it earlier we can provide you RC version in about 3 weeks.

This is great news to every PTMC user, really awesome news! I think this is the most wanted and long while missing feature of the platform and it will increase the platform to a whole new level and attract tremendous amount of new users too.

I will follow up the thread and try the RC as well of course.

Do you see when the trading simulator mode will be ready? Is this in RC already?

I will start trading live with AMP only and only after I can trade with their live account in PTMC simulation mode. It is why I just did laid back three months ago after I opened my live account with AMP and when my PTMC demo licence expired. I will not fund it and start spending my time with Futures Trading without proper and extensive live simulation practice in my chosen platform.

I have been waiting for this for a while now, can you please provide any realistic timescales ?

I am second to haroonxml, I would like to know when to expect the release of trading simulator feature for live accounts (AMP in my case). Here is this 30% OFF promotion by PTMC valid until December but I have been waiting for the simulator feature since summer, as I was planning to subscribe for PTMC license only when I can do simulated trading on AMP Live account.

At the moment we are working on big asian institutional project and it requires almost all our resources. We plan to finish this project approximately till end of winter and then we would return to simulator. Sorry for delays.

Can't believe I just read that, I am guessing it's going to be a very long winter.. 

This is really sad and disappointing for many of us :( I think that a trading platform without simulation mode is only for seasoned professionals but PTMC aims amateurs... 99.9% of the users who begin live trading lose its entire investment in days or weeks and only simulation mode on live account would give a real chance. Also, I have purchased a very expensive 40" 4K monitor and new PC basically just because I wanted to start live trading and subscribe to PTMC license and based on the August information from PTMC we could expect the simulation mode by the end of October 2017 and RC version earlier...

Well, it seems so the simulation mode may be available in 6-12 months if at all.

Steve try Motive Wave's simulator it's pretty good,  can always switch back to PTMC if they ever release it and more importantly if its any good. Currently, we don't even know what features will they have in their simulator so no point in waiting. I had been waiting for this since they told you back in August that there will be a beta available in 3 weeks time but its clear their 'big' institutional clients take priority over us retail peasants, it's hugely sad and disappointing indeed.
